Yoga has seen a rise in popularity since the pandemic hit. For us busy, stressed out city folks, it has provided an avenue of calm and peace. Whether you’re a longtime yoga practitioner, or picked it up from YouTube, there’s no denying the healing effects of yoga on body and mind.

1. B.est Mind & Body

Located at KLoé Hotel, B.est is a studio dedicated to a holistic approach in wellness. There’s everything from a basic Yoga 101 class, to an Animal Flow and even Ladder Vinyasa! Some of their events even come with breakfast, or a wine tasting.
They also offer sound healing, HIIT and barre sessions, making it the place to be for whatever your fitness goals might be.

2. One Earth Yoga

If you’re looking for a cosy space in the middle of the city, One Earth Yoga is the place to go. It’s located right in the middle of Mont Kiara, and runs yoga classes for individuals and groups. There are a range of yoga classes available at the space like hatha, vinyasa and yin. There are also technique classes that focus on certain positions, like headstands and hip openers.
Both online and in-person classes are available, and bookings can be made on their website. For those more dedicated to the craft, 50-hour and 100-hour yoga courses can be booked through One Earth Yoga, with scholarships available.

3. Hippie Hub

Nestled in Damansara Perdana, Hippie Hub is a community of people who enjoy yoga. The space welcomes beginners and intermediate yogis alike to practice different forms of yoga, providing everything from basic to power flows.
They also run free community classes, and classes outside of yoga like pilates and functional training. Make reservations for their virtual and in-person classes at their timetable here.

4. The Flow Studio

The Flow Studio is a beautiful space in Bangsar, and has just expanded to include a second location at TTDI. They run private sessions, sessions for small groups, and offer packages as well. They also have sessions specifically for men, which is a breath of fresh air in what can sometimes be a woman saturated space.
Classes are offered both on the mat and on a reformer, a machine that creates resistance specifically for pilates-based workouts. The Flow Studio is well-established with a longstanding community and even merchandise!

5. Yoga Daily Studio

A humble shoplot studio in Cheras, Yoga Daily Studio has a loyal fanbase. Expect all forms of yoga here, including aerial dance and aerial yoga! Open daily, appointments can be made through their WhatsApp line.
Deep stretching and floor yoga is also available. For the full class schedule, give them a buzz and they are more than happy to assist you.
